All right....doing an A4 motive with alcohol based markers was the stupidest idea ever.
I had to redraw the whole thing 'cause I messed up the colouration for the face. It's ok now but I couldn't get rid of the streaks..
Maybe it's just not possible with this size.
I also wasted a lot of time and colour on the hair because I wasn't quite sure how it should look in the end.
To be honest, I like coloured pencils a lot more. They're forgiving and you don't have to ponder for ten minutes before you're sure what to do next. With the markers, I was kinda afraid, I'd ruin it some way or another. The colours are beautiful and intensive but one should really stick to small formats/areas with them.
Looking for inspiration, I stumbled over a website with stockphotos and instantly took a liking to this one. So I adopted it for this picture.
All that aside, I like it very much.
This year's our 10th anniversary and I wanted to celebrate it with a drawing or two! All the best, my darling.
By the way, this was Seth's earliest design from 2005, inspired by the character Azura from You Higuri's manga "Gorgeous Carat - Virtue of Darkness" (no kidding!).

Mmhh, er sieht seeehr gut aus :3 und hättest du das nicht in der Beschreibung erwähnt, hätte ich gedacht, dass die Striche eine tolle Colo-art sind. XD (finds immer noch gut!)
